We are pleased to announce the opening of TT Biotec, the Group’s new plastics recycling plant in Baia Mare, Romania. As a member of the TiszaTextil Group, TT Biotec represents another important milestone in our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy.
The new facility specializes in the production of high-quality polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) regranulates, manufactured from recycled industrial plastic waste. These premium recycled materials are used in the production of flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs) and other flexible packaging applications, helping to reduce virgin plastic consumption while maintaining the highest quality standards.
With TT Biotec, TiszaTextil Group strengthens its integrated circular business model by transforming plastic waste into valuable raw materials that are returned to production within the Group and supplied to customers worldwide. Located in the heart of Europe, the new plant combines advanced recycling technology with efficient logistics, enabling fast deliveries, a competitive cost-to-quality ratio, and a reduced environmental footprint.
